Linda, a cancer survivor and single mom from Illinois, did what hundreds, maybe even thousands, of C2E2 convention attendees did. She filled out a blue raffle ticket at the Profiles in History booth to win a giveaway, dropped it in the clear plastic case and walked away. She completely forgot about it until she found out she had won.
“I am pretty overwhelmed right now,” the smiling fan stated as she stood near her prize. “This is the best case scenario,” General Manager of Profiles Fong Sam said of the situation. “We were a little concerned the fan wouldn’t show up and that we’d have to ship the item, but this is so much better!”
You can see video of Linda opening up her prize, the mock first issue comic of Captain America from the film “Captain America” starring Chris Evans, along with the Fong Sam interview, plus footage of Josh Gates of “Destination Truth” and Joe Maddalena of Profiles/“Hollywood Treasure”. Two more photos from the event after the page break.
