“Hunger Games” Auction, from Blacksparrow Auctions. November 16th, Hollywood CA.

Blacksparrow Auctions has had a busy 2013, and even with the year winding down, the company, led by Fong Sam, is not slowing down momentum. Two major events on the horizon are a must-see for any pop culture addict.

For horror movie enthusiasts, you will be happy to hear that the Dr. Shocker House of Horror’s legacy is going to be passed on via an auction on October 26th at Hollywood’s TCL Chinese Theaters at 6925 Hollywood Blvd in Los Angeles. Even before Dr. Shocker, aka Daniel Roebuck, is ready for the bidding of his massive collection to begin, there will be an October 9th DVD release of “Dr. Shocker’s Vault of Horror”, as well as a screening of the documentary “MonsterManiacs” the same night. If you want to be at the screening, which will also be at TCL Chinese Theaters, or see the catalogue for the late October auction, contact (323) 250-3980.

If you want more cinema goodness, no worries, since Blacksparrow is also hosting an auction of “Hunger Games” film-used costumes! The auction takes place November 16th at TCL Chinese Theaters, but you can see the wildly colorful fare in person between October 4th and 6th at The Hollywood Show in Los Angeles. The collection has previously been on tour through Seattle and Chicago on the convention circuit, so be sure to check the items out before they belong to someone else, film fans!
