Fans who have had a positive impact on their lives by their mediums of choice have been in the news lately. One fan obtained their dream home, which happens to be a former home of their favorite singer Whitney Houson (read about it HERE), and a Cosmopolitan writer Anna describes the impact the show Sex and the City, as well as main character Carrie, had on her life (read it HERE).

The most amazing story all week was when the lead singer of Staind saw a young girl being molested while crowd surfing and ranted about it to the audience ( NOTE – his rant is filled with adult language) and threatened to kick people out if he saw it again, to which he added before singing “Ladies, feel free to crowd surf SAFELY” (read it HERE). Similar stories of idols actually being aware of what is going on in their crowds and intervening include Dave Grohl (here), Lady Gaga (here), and P!nk (here).
